Simon Harris, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science tasked SOLAS with developing a new 10-year Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (ALND) Strategy for Ireland. The strategy will be informed by a broad national consultation process. ETBI on behalf of the sector compiled a submission to SOLAS, collating individual ETB Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills submissions to present a sectoral perspective. The submission highlighted areas of importance to ETBs and actions that will enable the successful integration of Adult Literacy Numeracy and Digital Skills across ETB Further Education and Training provision.
